Aitrust participates in national and European research projects

Continuing research efforts are essential to develop product and process innovation and maintain a high level of competitiveness.

For this reason, Aitrust participates in national and European funded research projects and joins in consortia and industrial districts promoting partnerships between companies, Universities and Research Organizations.

The result is the industrialization of solutions that contribute to increasing the efficiency and security of our customers’ activities, but also and above all to improving everyday life by making it more sustainable, simpler and more functional.

Thanks to this commitment and the expertise acquired in managing major projects, Aitrust established itself as a technology advisor to support the Customer’s strategic innovation processes.

DSH 2030 – DIGITAL AND SUSTAINABLE HARBOUR

The aim of the project is to outline innovative ways and applications of knowledge management oriented to promote forms of management and sustainable development of waterfront. the pilot case of the project, inside the Ancient Port of Genoa, is focused on testing of IoT technologies, with reference to systems for the control of  water and energy consumption and to the application of some sensors and smart meters. The objective is the development of an enhanced Digital Twin of the tourist port that allows to monitor and optimize the following processes:
  • Environmental monitoring
  • Monitoring and optimization of resources (water, energy, etc.)
  • Monitoring and simulation of flows of people and vehicles (land and sea) for both safety and commercial purposes
  • Quality monitoring of the built system.
